Iran aspires to make things that are both useful and beautiful. She describes her work as clean, authentic, and purposeful. She has strong minimalist tendencies, with occasional outbursts of exuberance.
Iran has over 15 years of design and art direction experience, working across a wide range of industries including retail, finance, advertising, tech and the arts, designing for both digital and print media.
Her work has been recognized by design publications and organizations such as HOW Magazine, the Type Director’s Club, Surface Magazine, and AIGA’s annual "50 Books/50 Covers" competition. She has a BFA in graphic design from California College of the Arts.
When not at the Pier, Iran likes to be outside as much as possible, hiking or riding her motorcycle. If she’s inside, chances are she’s cooking, reading, mixing drinks, or making art.
